Joel Dominates Brooke (in event related things)

The last two days have emitted a plethora of Brooke v. Joel events, beginning with Joel calling a NASCAR Race event at SummerFest (pictures would be forthcoming if i had a cord that hooked my cell phone to my camera).

This evening shane brought his Wii to town... After creating Miis, brooke and i competed in Tennis & Bowling.

Unfortunately for Brooke, i won all of these events.

More events are sure to follow, as tim n' jen are in clinton for the next several days.

Big Days.

A lot of playing has been played in the past few days. Today was an eventful day as we got back on track in the SeegerOlympics. Several long term events were announced and many games were played. Here are the on-going events:

  1. Weight-Loss Challenge (short-term): Whoever has lost the most pounds between today & late June (when Tim & Jen will be in Wisconsin).
  2. Cocktail Challenge - Each contestant makes a cocktail and the other contestants judge the others' cocktails.
  3. Weight-Loss Challenge (long-term): Whoever loses the highest percentage of their body weight between now & Christmas Day.
  4. 20 Bucks - Each contestant accrues a $20 bill & tries to make as much out of it before December 31st as they can. Gambling, Investing, Pocketing, whatever you can do to make money. Whoever has the most at the end wins.
In other news, the SeegerOlympics has taken on a touchy-feely scoring system where all events will score 3 points for first place, 2 pts. for second and 1 for third. This is due to the fact that evidently people coming in second aren't necessarily losers. After this 1st round (starting at #3 above) all events will be scored according to this schedule. If future events somehow can't determine 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, the contestant can choose 3 events for the price of one.

And the Winner is...

Tim!

A
fter two months and four days of 2007 the fate of the 2006 SeegerOlympics has finally been decided. In an indoor ball-kicking competition tim defeated Joel 6-8 (fewest number of kicks to get around the house) to break the tie that may have occured (had joel won the as-yet-undecided poetry contest & tim lost Carcassonne to brooke). A complicated circumstance, but now, finally, our long national nightmare is over...
